Hail the Juice Master

"Peaches, you've lost weight" pronounced Leo on his morning fly-past from the bathroom to his wardrobe.  Those magical words shot straight through my semi-comotose slumber, within seconds I was alert, fully functioning and racing down to the kitchen, despite the pre-dawn hour!

What would I do without the gospel according to the Juice Master?  That man has me in his thrall; his juiceing-machine with the power to peel back the years, actually shrinking me so that I glide, like teflon into my favourite little Goddess dress.  Imagine my dismay when, Oscar, afore-mentioned juicer, failed to respond to his morning shot of current.  His powerful motor remained silent, kaput… what a disaster.  The lure of the cookie jar with its seductive sugar-hit  was all too tempting.

Without drawing breath, I put out an SOS to, Olivia, my walking A-Z on health.
"Darling, it's Heston who's floating my boat at the mo… Nutri-Juicer is defo the way to go… supplemented with Nutri-Blast for fibre'.

Well, here it is, the new chrome skyscraper dominating the work surface.  I'll try it out tomorrow on Lola, she's calling in for a post whooping cough debrief on the chaise!

Revels or Fruit & Nut?

Revels or Fruit & Nut?  I fear that old Shakespeare missed the point somewhat…this really is the question.  Anticipation levels soar off the richter scale searching for those elusive orange creams, my personal favourites. The pleasure never diminishes, despite the threat of needing Spanx for that gorgeous little dress, Leo's favourite…  His x-ray vision never fails to both calculate and articulate the extra pounds with pin-point accuracy.  Just think of the SYN content per delicious sphere, and OMG, the prospect of making a 'Confession' at Body Magic.  I usually fess up to Lola, by text not instagram,  a trial run eases the guilt and stops me absconding from the dreaded weigh-in.

Apparently, Bill Nighy takes 'Revels' state-side for Julienne Moore.  What a delightful thought, I had no idea that my little addiction was so Hollywood.  And then we have 'Fruit and Nut'; childhood memories of Frankie Howard,  the delight of a chilled squares from Mum's family-sized bar, nostalgia for life's simple pleasures - Chocolate opens a portal to so much more…

Lovely to be back on the airwaves Darlings... Peaches Aphrodite here, formally blogging editor in chief on 'Peaches Aphrodite - Diary of an Everyday Goddess'.  My 'Eyes on the Street' is roving reporter, Lola, model agent extraordinaire;  my muse and inspiration is Leo, my husband, without doubt a legend in his own lifetime!
